[Nexon’s September 17 announcement](https://prtimes.jp/main/html/rd/p/000000533.000014847.html) confirmed the global Android and iOS launch, and both US store listings were live when we checked them on 2026-09-17. The version that matters for your decision is no longer the release date — it is how each store charges you. ## The price, and the deadline attached to it [US Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mintrocket.drmobile&gl=US&hl=en) sells the app outright for **$7.99**, labelled 20% off a $9.99 list price, with the offer ending **September 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM**. [4Gamer’s launch report](https://www.4gamer.net/games/439/G043999/20260917003/) describes the same September 17–30 launch sale in Japan, so the discount window is not a US-only quirk. The [US App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/dave-the-diver/id6759962259) reaches the same number by a different route: the download is free, and a **$7.99** in-app purchase called DAVE THE DIVER Full Version unlocks the rest. Apple does not display a discount badge on that unlock, so we cannot confirm whether it reverts to $9.99 in October the way the Android price says it will. Either way, both stores list the **In the Jungle** expansion as a separate **$4.99** purchase. Local prices, taxes, and availability differ by country — open your own store page rather than budgeting from these figures. ## The Android catch On iPhone and iPad you can download the game for nothing, play the opening, and decide afterwards. On Android there is no trial: the button says Buy, and you pay before you have touched the controls once. That matters more than it usually would, because the controls are the part of this port people disagree about. Launch-day Google Play reviewer Ade Farley called the mobile controls “abit fidgety,” while TJ Stofflet reported the game running at 90 FPS on a Razr 2024 with full Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and generic controller layouts. [REVU’s Ramon Lopez](https://www.revu.com.ph/2026/09/dave-the-diver-mobile-android-ios-price/) says the experience “translate\[s\] beautifully to smaller screens” but still suggests a Bluetooth controller for the precise moments. If you are on Android and unsure, that is an argument for deciding before September 30 rather than after — or for waiting until you have seen the game running on hardware like yours. ## Corrections to the preorder-era details Three details we reported from the preorder listing changed at launch: | Detail | Preorder listing | Live US listing, checked 2026-09-17 | | --- | --- | --- | | iPhone requirement | iOS 13 or later | iOS 15.0 or later (iPadOS 15.0 on iPad) | | Download size | 3.3 GB | 3.7 GB on the App Store; AppBrain reports a 3.24 GB Android APK | | Full-game price | $9.99 | $7.99 during the launch sale | The App Store also declares **English** as the only supported language, which is worth checking before you buy if you were counting on one of the desktop version’s eleven. Launch-day players reported in-game Thai and Brazilian Portuguese text with spelling and overlap faults, and the day-one patch notes mention fixes to text display in several languages, so the declaration and the build do not currently agree. ## What you get for the one purchase [Inven Global’s launch report](https://www.invenglobal.com/articles/26112/mintrocket-launches-dave-the-diver-mobile-globally) confirms the base purchase includes the Digital Extra pack — Cobra’s boat skin, a digital artbook, and the soundtrack — at no extra cost, and that the DREDGE crossover content is in the box. Only In the Jungle is sold separately. REVU adds that the Godzilla and Like a Dragon collaborations are not planned for mobile at all. MINTROCKET also built things that exist only here: a three-stage screen zoom, tilting the phone to pour tea at Bancho Sushi, and fast travel straight to residents in the Sea People village.
